Barista

Brooklyn Roasting Company is looking to immediately hire top quality, highly skilled coffee loving baristas to join our fast growing company. Both full time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualified applicants must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills, be a strong team player and have an ability or willingness to master the art of making great coffee and espresso. Basic physical duties include, but are not limited to, restocking shelves, organizing inventory, waste management and transport of brewed coffee/teas. Must be able to lift items up to 40lbs. Candidates with a creative, positive personality, supportive mentality, strong work ethic who can take direction well will undoubtedly succeed in this role.

Must be able to reliably commute to Manhattan or Brooklyn.
Applicants must also be committed to a set schedule with room for flexibility and must have weekend availability.

Previous experience with specialty coffee is a huge plus, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude! We are serious about coffee and want people who are serious about working with coffee. Quality applicants will demonstrate an interest in moving into more involved, specific roles in the company in order to contribute our growth.
