COMO Hotels and Resorts are an award-winning, family-owned group of 18 hotels and resorts worldwide; each one different to the other but sharing the same heart: a deep commitment to holistic wellness, exceptional nutrition-rich cuisine, and inspiring destinations that honour the spirit of place.

COMO Metropolitan London is an inner city property stripping back to the non-essential elements of a traditional hotel. The result is an urban retreat that is cool, accessible and sophisticated. COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.
 

What you will do:

  • Identify the learning requirements, addressing both organisational, and individual skill gaps across all levels of 2 properties (COMO Metropolitan London & COMO The Halkin) 
  • Aligning hotel learning initiatives with the hotel and company objectives to drive success
  • Lead COMO Welcome; onboarding program which engages team members and introduces them to COMO’s culture and core values
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all training programs through feedback, metrics, and strategies contributing to data-driven decision-making for performance improvement
  • Create and deliver impactful training programmes specifically tailored to enhance employee skills and drive service excellence 
  • Develop brand specific learning content: create compelling learning resources custom-tailored for our online training platform
  • Work closely with various departments to understand their distinctive training needs and align learning programs with the group’s goals.
Who you are: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role  as a learning manager within the hospitality industry. 
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for creating a culture of continuous learning 
  • Ability to self manage & prioritise your workload, whilst maintaining a consistent performance 
  • Confident Trainer who has the ability to build rapport with team members & managers 
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, comfortable communicating at all levels 
  • A creative personality, with a real passion for hospitality developing internal talent
