The Grill Cook/Carver is responsible for most of the hot food preparation. At Tender Greens we pride ourselves on the quality of our food. Major responsibilities include:
• Preparing various food to be cooked or served
• Preparing all food items to order following standard recipes within specified time limits
• Ensuring that guests orders are properly portioned and ready to be served
• Carrying equipment, food supplies, and utensils to and from work and storage areas
• Ensuring that all equipment, utensils, work areas, dishes are clean
• Ensuring that foods are properly stored in containers and storage areas
• Following all sanitation guidelines
• Becoming familiar with new menu items/dishes

Requirements:
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
• Solution oriented
• Must enjoy and succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
Hours will vary, must be able to work weekends

Abilities include:
Must be able to lift trays of food weighing up to 5, lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
Some bending/kneeling/stooping required, must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work in a hot environment
High School diploma or equivalent
