Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Food & Beverage assistant to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, with hosting The British Masters in August 2024, and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.

 

The Brabazon Bar

 

The Brabazon Bar is the heart of our resort, and the ideal meeting place. The bar is a versatile space, serving light dishes and coffees during the morning, afternoon tea, and hand-crafted cocktails in the evening. The bar is home to live music during the weekend.

 

Salary 


The on target earning potential for this role is £11.68 - £12.24 hourly rate, compromising of a base hourly rate of £10.88 - £11.44 plus a qualified estimate of £0.80 gratuities per hour

 

About the role


This role will require late nights in the week and weekend working.

As a food and beverage assistant, your duties include all those of a waiter or bartender

·             To welcome all guests a polite and friendly manner

·             To deliver a great experience from beginning to end

·             To confidently talk about our menus, offer upsells and enthusiastically

·             To take orders from our guests and proactively ensure that all of their needs are met

·             Cleaning and good hygiene practices are a large part of this role

·             To work across any of the outlets that are in need of assistance to ensure the smooth running of the resort as a whole.


About you


Previous experience in a busy bar or restaurant would be preferred, but you don’t need experience to start your career with us at The Belfry Hotel and Resort. We have a great team that will train you give you all of the skills you need to be successful. If you do have previous experience that’s great, we will take your skills and elevate them in a department where you feel you would be the best fit.
