Floor Manager

Belle Reve is a Restaurant and Bar in Tribeca that needs a new Floor Manager for the upcoming busy season. Belle Reve is a neighborhood bar, with a cozy unpretentious atmosphere. This person should be responsible and patient and be able to multi-task and problem solve. Typical duties involve greeting and seating customers, using opentable, managing the floor and bar staff, helping to resolve issues with customers and between employees if they arise, and general maintenance of the atmosphere of the establishment (music, lighting, good vibes). This person should be seasoned with at least 4 years of management experience on the floor of NYC restaurants and bars. We want someone who likes a good challenge and is a natural-born leader, but still knows how to have a good time . Applicants with a music background will probably enjoy working here as we are also a music venue with a piano, live music, and lots of musicians on staff.
