Description
Boutique-style financial group servicing the Hospitality, Real Estate, Health/Wellness and Entertainment industries is looking for a Director of Accounting Services! This person will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of multiple client accounts and act as the liaison between clients and the company itself. An emphasis will be on some very high profile and exciting restaurant group clients, but may transition into overseeing clients in the other sectors as well. 5-7 years of experience in a professional services/client oriented/multi-concept/centralized accounting management background is preferred.
Ideal successful candidates will have the following qualities:
• Strong work ethic is very important!!
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize projects
• Very detail-oriented & meticulous
• Good with understanding systems
• Knowledge of budget analysis, capital structure, equity, cash flow management
• Personable, positive attitude, good presence
• Understands the "bigger picture"
• Reliable, accountable, someone who can treat the business as their own
• Knowledge of IQ Back Office & Intacct accounting software platforms
• CPA &/or CGMA designations a plus, but not required
Unlike many traditional financial firms, this will typically be a M-F schedule with no late nights (of course depending on flow of business)!! The company promotes a great office culture with "no politics & no micro-managing" & an unlimited ceiling in terms of financial & personal growth.
Salary will be in the $80-100k range, DOE + annual bonus, 401K, & monthly medical allowance.
