Description
Great Performances, New York's premier catering, event and food service company seeks a dynamic, hands-on Floor Manager with demonstrated hospitality and managerial experience for one of our iconic Manhattan Venues. We are looking for someone with previous floor manager experience in the hospitality field and the desire to grow and learn within the organization.

The ideal candidate has the ability to successfully coach, develop and discipline staff to ensure the guest experience meets the hospitality standards of the company. You should be able to solve problems creatively and efficiently with the ability to supervise the restaurant flow and guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Include, but not limited to:
Train, coach, develop and discipline employees through constructive feedback and development
Manage service standards as described in the Hospitality Guide
Participate in on-going education for team members, including creating training programs
Provide exceptional guest service, setting the standards for all employees
Ability to resolve guests issues and concerns effectively, ensuring customers have a pleasant experience
Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
Monitor food presentation meets the specifications as determined by the Chef

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS REQUIRED:
1 to 3 years Floor Manager experience
Must be able to work a flexible work week, mandatory nights and weekends
Physically present on the floor throughout service times
Self-disciplined with strong leadership skills
Pleasant polite manner with a professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to handle pressure and recommend creative solutions
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
