Duties
& Responsibilities:
- Provides prompt, courteous, and professional food &
beverage service to all restaurant guests.
- Ensures that work areas/stations are clean, orderly, and
stocked with the specified condiments and amenities.
- Adheres to an established sequence of service standards,
including greeting guests within two minutes, taking orders in a timely manner,
and acknowledging guests by name, etc.
- Maintains complete knowledge of all food & beverage
items, prices, ingredients, methods of preparation, and availability.
- Able to provide suggestions to guests while describing
tastes and flavors in the food, wine, and craft cocktails.
- Accurately enters guests orders in POS system.
- Ensures that all guest orders are accurate before serving.
- Effectively performs tableside service with poise,
confidence, and compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.
- Ensures that all sales are accounted for and accurate prior
to presenting a check to the guest.
- Follows all cash handling procedures and check-closing
procedures.
- Verifies all check discrepancies with Supervisor/Manager
before changing and closing.
- Exhibits extreme care when handling dishware, glassware,
silverware, and food product.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- Previous Server experience in fine dining
- Extensive conversational knowledge in food & beverage.
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills
to effectively interface with guests.
- Must possess a current RBS certification.
- Must possess a current Food Handler card.
- Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
