POSITION: WINE Barback (FT and/or PT)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Sets up and maintains sufficient levels of wine according to par lists to assure a smooth service period
- Maintains product level throughout service; polishes glassware for wine service as needed throughout shift
- Follows proper presentation of product and station set up/break down
- Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
- Completes required tasks within assigned time frames
- Reports any waste to a manager immediately
- Assists in projects assigned during off-peak periods as needed
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager on duty
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years NYC restaurant experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to follow direction and multi-task
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Commitment and passion for hospitality and customer service
