Saxon and Parole is seeking a Sous chef. Ideal candidate must be passionate, dedicated, hard-working, willing to learn and wants to challenge his out herself on a daily basis. We have a fun, friendly, fast paced, passionate, positive and creative crew. We are looking for a team player with a great attitude to be a part of this amazing team.
Responsibilities include assisting Executive Chef & CDC's with the following:
-Scheduling
-Menu development
-Cost control
-Purveyor Relations
-Cleanliness, sanitation, health code compliance
-Filling in and assisting line cooks on all stations
-Daily prep
-Must be experienced on all stations
-Knowledge of proper handling/ storage of food items
-butchering
-working the pass
Experience: MUST have worked at least as sous chef or tournant in fast paced, reputable restaurant.
Work week: 5-6 days on rotation in the busy season.
