1). What is Harri?

Harri is dedicated to revolutionizing the world of hospitality and retail recruitment. For employers, that means the end of inefficient Craigslist posts and the beginning of finding great employees faster and easier. For job seekers, we bring the ability to create a fully three-dimensional profile with photo and video content to help stand out from the crowd.

Throw in smart search and filtering, and people are going to quickly start wondering why Harri didn't exist sooner. And these are just the features we've already tested for phase one - our vision goes far beyond that.The Harri team boasts over 15 years’ experience in the restaurant industry. We know the pain of sorting through 500+ applicants just to find the right server, and that's what inspired us to build a platform to solve the problem. The team is young, hungry, and excited to make an impact. Our talents are concentrated in product management, strategy, marketing, and sales.

2). How do I sign up?

Signing up for Harri is a breeze & only requires three simple steps:

1. Click ‘Sign Up’ on our Home Page.
2. Tell us whether you’re a Job Seeker or Employer & enter your basic information.
3. Answer the simple security question & submit.



Once you’ve done that your Harri account is all set to go!

3). How much does it cost to sign up on Harri?

Creating a Harri profile as either a Job Seeker or an Employer is completely free of cost! We’re simply here to help make your life easier.

4). What is the Dashboard?

The Dashboard is where all the magic happens. On your Dashboard…

…as a Job Seeker you are able to:
Manage all of your job applications & messages
Browse through Suggested Jobs
View & edit your profile.



…as an Employer you are able to:
Manage all of your job posts, applications & messages
Browse through recommended candidates for each position
Post a new job & edit active jobs
Edit your company profile.

5). How can I contact Harri?

The best way to contact us directly is to send an email to admin@harri.com. Our team is managing the account throughout the day so you can be sure to expect a response within 24 business hours.

6). How do I change the email address I use?

You can change the email address you use to login to Harri by signing in to your Profile > Edit Profile. Just enter the email address you want to use as your Harri login & click ‘Update’.

As a Job Seeker:

7). How do I change my Communication Email address?

As an Employer, if you would like to have all of your emails sent to a specific address, you just need to update your ‘Communication Email.

You can change the communication email address by signing in to your Profile > Edit Profile. Just enter the email address you want to use as & click ‘Update’.



NOTE: You can have the same communication email for multiple different Harri accounts. (This is especially helpful for managing multiple restaurants!).

8). How do I reset my password?

You can change your password by signing in to your Profile > Edit Profile. Simply enter the password you want to use, retype it to confirm & click ‘Update’.

9). I forgot my password. What do I do?

No sweat. If you forgot your password you can just click ‘Forgot Your Password’ & enter your email address. You will receive an email shortly after with instructions on what steps to take from there.

10). How do I cancel my account?

Although we’ll be sad to see you go, if you wish to terminate your account just send an email to admin@harri.com & let us know. Simply tell us that you wish to remove your profile & let us know the email address used to register your Harri account. We will terminate your account within 24 business hours.

11). How do I edit my profile?

When you login to your Dashboard > Edit Profile. From here you are able to change any of the information linked to your account.

12). Do I have to fill out my profile?

Well technically, no. But what’s the point in that? The more information you provide, the easier it is for both Job Seekers & Employers to find that perfect fit. We’ve designed Harri to ease the job hunt / hiring process, so we definitely recommend adding a lot of personality to your Harri profile.

13). How do I take a great profile picture?

When you’re uploading a profile picture, keep in mind that you will be applying for jobs. We highly recommend posting a clear & professional photo of just you.

14). How does video profile/messaging work?

One of the great features of Harri is the ability to record videos.

As a Job Seeker you can record a quick video as part of your resume…



As an employer you can upload a company video for job seekers to watch before applying for your jobs…

15). How do I post a job?

From your Dashboard > Post a Job.

In order to post a job on Harri you need to sign up for a package, each with a different price. Once you have selected your package (click here to see package options) you are able to post your positions on Harri.

Simply fill in the required fields & save the post. It’s important to be as specific as possible in order to make sure the candidates applying for your position meet your company requirements!

17). What if I own multiple restaurants?

If you’re part of a restaurant group managing multiple branded establishments here’s what you need to do.

1. Create a profile for each brand. (We do it this way to make sure that each of your restaurants attracts your ideal future employees.)
2. When you ‘Edit Profile’ change the ‘Communication Email’ to whatever contact you need.

By following these two easy steps you are able to market each of your establishments under separate logins to its best potential while still having all communication come in to the same person.

18). The New Employer Inbox

Overview


Harri’s Candidate Management System enables employers to:


  • Review new candidate profiles

  • Communicate with candidates

  • Track the status of a candidate through the hiring process


There are two ways to access the Candidate Management System. From the dashboard, click on the New Candidates, New Messages or Total Candidates links for a specific Job (see below). Or, click on the Messages link in the horizontal menu.


 




Reviewing New Candidates

The Inbox displays candidate listings with the newest messages at the top. Unread messages have a blue background.




Click on a candidate's name to review their Quickview Profile. If the candidate is a good fit, change their status to “Interview” and then click the next arrow to review additional candidates. When you are finished reviewing candidates, close Quickview using the [x] icon.




Upon returning to the Inbox, each candidate’s status reflects the decision you made while in Quickview. To quickly invite candidates to an interview

  • Click the checkbox next to name of each candidate
  • Click the Group Reply button
  • Optionally, select the interview template and add the interview time and location
  • Click the Message All button

Congratulations on inviting Harri candidates to an interview!

**Pro-Tip** Our most successful employers keep their Inbox manageable by archiving messages from candidates they have replied to.

Managing Candidates


When all messages have been archived from your inbox, use the Candidate Status filters to keep track of where each candidate is in the hiring process. If Amy turns out to not be a good fit, for example, simply update her status to “Passed” and she will be removed from the "Interview" filter and added to the "Passed" filter.


**Pro Tip** when you pass on a candidate, make sure to reply and thank them for their interest. Use the" Thanks But No Thanks" Template (TBNT) to quickly respond and maintain your reputation as a good employer!



New Messages


When a candidate replies to your interview invitation, the conversation will be moved from the "Archive" folder back to the inbox.In the example below, Amy has confirmed that she will attend the interview.




Filtering by Job


To review candidates for a specific position, select a job from the Jobs Filter.
