Surf Shack is now accepting applications for Team Members at the Astoria Park Pool Concession

Cooks/Kitchen staff
For fryer and grill in a super fast food restaurant. Work includes cooking, preparing meals, prepping for lunch, cleaning tables, sweeping, organizing, cleaning store, storing supplies, loading and unloading supplies, storing supplies in designated area.

We are looking for intelligent, super friendly, high energy, educated individuals with experience in a super fast paced environment or a willingness to learn
Must posses a Professional appearance and communication skills
Must be able to work from 11 am to 7:30 pm with flexibility to work additional hours and weekends

Must be capable of standing for long periods
Ability to lift over 35 lbs, reach, lift and carry
Ability to take direction and work in a team oriented environment
Please note that company will conduct drug and criminal background check

Must be 18 years old or older to apply.
Must bring Valid (not expired) Picture ID with DOB on it, Social Security Card and Resume if available (Hard Copy & Electronically).

Please note that this is a summer job from 6/25 through September 2nd.

Must be willing to work throughout summer holidays.

This is a summer position working in a fast paced environment, the temperature is hotter than the stress, and we service over 100,000 customers per season. If you have a laid back personality and no sense of urgency this job is not for you.
