What we are looking for:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
• Oversee the General Ledger and Monthly Close process for multiple companies
• Review monthly Account Details, Analysis, and Reconciliations as needed
• Prepare annual IRS form 8027 for all Companies
• Review the Compeat Database for errors and omissions in Cash & Sales from Micros
• Review the Compeat Database and prepare variance reports for monthly inventory and recipes
• Review Business Insurance expense and accruals
• Manage lease schedules and % rent calculations
• Manage the annual Budget process
• Provide support and Analysis for Operations team
• Reconcile all cash and credit bank accounts
• Coordinate annual budgets and related activities
• Update the Accounting Policy and Procedure manual as needed

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
• Accounting documents, records, and reports are prepared, maintained, and accurately presented in a timely manner daily/weekly/monthly.
• Department files are appropriately maintained in an organized manner
• Account reconciliations are updated and completed in a timely manner
• Good communication, coordination, and assistance with Company personnel
• Management is appropriately informed of area activities as needed
• Accounting functions are completed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Strong Accounting and math skills
• Working knowledge of Cost of Goods and Cost Accounting methods
• Above average computer skills including advanced knowledge in Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Experience with Great Plains Accounting required
• Working knowledge of MICROS POS system and Compeat Advantage Restaurant Software a plus
• Must be organized and possess attention to detail
• Able to multitask and prioritize work
• Cooperative and willing to assist others
• Must have prior restaurant or retail experience or must like our industry
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in accounting/finance required, MBA or CPA a plus
Minimum three to five years experience in similar management role
Hospitality, Retail, or similar industry experience a plus
