What we are looking for:

Overview
Responsible for performing complex financial analysis projects including the analysis and development of financial reports, trends, and opportunities. Support the maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) data base and integration with Compeat System which is essential to back office restaurant management. Position is based in Boston Massachusetts but will involve travel to locations to support operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
50%
• Evaluates and makes recommendations relating to business opportunities, investment in technology, financial regulations, and similar financial projects or programs
• Gathers, interprets, and evaluates financial information on a monthly basis (ratios)
• Develops recommendations to achieve the organizations financial objectives
• Use professional concepts and data modeling for company objectives to resolve complex issues in effective ways
50%
• Maintain Compeat database for inventory, prepared, and menu items ensuring connectivity to Micros POS
• Implement new item and corrections to the venue databases such as price, cost, and pack size as needed
• Act as level 1 Support to restaurant management addressing data, systems, and reports questions
• Coordinate with IT concerning any issues with POS buttons missing or new ones needed
• Ensure all new buttons for new products are properly tested and fully functioning before releasing
• Update inventory products in recipes to reflect changes to menu items as needed
• On a weekly basis, Audit and conduct general maintenance on the POS (Micros) and Inventory Database system (Compeat) using exception reports
• Assist in creating deployment and operational process documentation
• Train users on inventory/accounting best practices, system changes, and refreshers on current procedures
• Work with management and other staff to make the system more streamlined for users
• Create procedure manual for venues on how to complete tasks in the Compeat system

Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting or related field. 1-3 years experience preferred.
• Intermediate Excel competency including advanced formulas and pivot tables
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills Proficient in Microsoft Office including, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Knowledge and experience in Restaurant, Nightlife, Food & Beverage, or Retail Industry is required.
• Inventory system experience a plus (Compeat, Crunchtime, Menu Link, Chef Tech)
