High Street On Hudson is looking for an experienced barista to join the morning team. Exceptional hospitality and ability to execute high quality beverages with an extensive knowledge about coffee is a must. Potential candidates are team players who are willing to have fun but work hard.


Baristas are in charge of:

Overall guest experience
Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service and consistently execute them with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service.
Acknowledge and engage all guests at the barista counter.
Efficiently organize orders, manage cash and credit card transactions. Demonstrate proficiency with POS system.
Demonstrating speed and accuracy with coffee service while maintaining the highest level of quality of coffee and presentation.
Demonstrating understanding of enlightened salesmanship and seeks opportunities to inform guests about pastries and other to-go items.
