LOOKING FOR EXTRA CASH EACH WEEK? Do you have strong administrative and communication skills, the ability to work weekends, and the flexibility to be available on short notice? We are seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent (FDA) able to commit to anywhere from 10 to 17 hours per week with the flexibility to cover additional shifts for special, private events and for other Team Members who are out sick or on vacation. Our FDAs are the first face our Members and their guests see when they enter the Club and the first voice they hear when they call the main number. FDAs come to know our Members well and, as Club Ambassadors, ensure that all Members and Guests feel welcome. Experts in Club services, FDAs are responsible for accurately answering all questions and ensuring our Members and their guests are able to access any and all services available. FDAs take reservations for various club events, coordinating with the necessary departments and staff to ensure accurate headcounts, and passing along special requests. They take complaints and reports of lost items, and know how to correctly route any type of call or inquiry that comes to the Front Desk. FDAs have access to the Club’s paging system and play a vital role in communicating both emergency and non-emergency information over this system. This position pays $14/hr.
• Handle member and guest inquiries by phone, email and in person, which involves mastery of club and departmental policies and procedures, as well as event details
• Make lunch, dinner and event reservations and confirmations
• Perform administrative tasks to maintain seamless operations
• Engage Members and Guests who come to the Front Desk, providing exceptional service
• Greet members and guests; determine the nature and purpose of their visit and direct or escort them to specific destinations, if necessary
• Collect, sort and distribute mail to respective departments and handle monthly and special club mailings

QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
1. Sincere interest in schedule with and real flexibility to work additional shifts as needed
2. High school diploma or equivalent
3. A minimum of 1 year prior experience in a similar capacity
4. Warm, friendly and personable. Outgoing without being overbearing and a caring manner with everyone.
5. Strong customer service orientation including knowledge of the principles and processes for meeting quality standards and ensuring member/guest satisfaction.
6. Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English with all stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
7. Able to follow oral and written instructions and to memorize necessary information
8. Strong computer skills including a facility with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
9. Able to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions
10. A team player able to work well with others and to work with minimal supervision
11. Exceptional attention to detail, including grooming habits, punctuality and reliability
Preferred:
1. Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop
2. Experience in a similar luxury environment
3. Bachelors degree or some college
4. Bilingual English and Spanish
5. CPR Certified
