Pastry Cook

We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable pastry cook to prepare home made, quality Italian focused pastry items, including gelato, sorbet, plated desserts, cookies, chocolates, cakes and breakfast pastries. The pastry cook will be responsible for:

-correct knowledge of use and upkeep of il Buco Alimentari's pastry related recipes and equipment
following health code regulations and the restaurant's sanitation requirements
-working with the pastry chef and the current pastry team to execute the daily prep list and assembal desserts
-preparing all recipes and assemble dishes based on the requirements of the Pastry Chef
assisting in minimizing waste and maintaining an accurate and acceptable food cost set by the Chef and Pastry Chef
-reporting to the Pastry Chef and performing duties as required by the Chef and Pastry Chef

We are looking for someone who works well with a team while having strong leadership and technical pastry skills. We are looking for fast learners with at least one year of experience working in a fine dining/full service pastry prep kitchen.
