CAVA is a fast-growing culinary brand with a portfolio of fast casual restaurants and a packaged goods line dedicated to fresh, Mediterranean inspired, better-for-you cuisine. Born from a full service restaurant collaboration between three first-generation Greek American childhood friends in the Washington, D.C. area, our chef-driven fast casual format has currently more than 45 restaurants with further expansion ahead.  

We are looking for a highly motivated, data-driven, and creative individual to join our team as the Marketing Strategist. This person is responsible for creating and executing key initiatives for internal stakeholders, based on analysis of data sources including, but not limited to, digital, social, and search. This position will drive the digital strategy for acquisition of new customers and manage lifetime value through digital communication and retention.

You will:
• Work with the Director of Marketing, identifying an appropriate mix of marketing tactics / activities to achieve acquisition and retention objects for your portfolio of work
• Drive the growth of CAVA’s customer base and accelerate revenue by exploring opportunities for growth and improve performance through testing and analysis
• Develop customer retention initiatives to drive increased retention of existing customer base across all platforms including, but not limited to, our loyalty program
• Identify new, emerging, and creative channels and tactics to acquire and engage CAVA’s target customers
• Glean and communicate actionable insights from data and analytics to drive audience engagement
• Issue a regular cadence of reports evaluating various communications efforts, providing sound, actionable insights and opportunities to key stakeholders including Marketing, Finance, Food & Beverage, Operations and Data & Engineering Teams
• Stay ahead of industry trends by maintaining a thorough understanding of digital marketing best practices, new tools, relevant industry benchmarks, and KPIs.

You have:
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, and/or analytics
• 3-7 years of digital marketing experience consumer product company, e-commerce company, media company, or marketing agency
• A deep understanding of how to use data to craft and implement communication strategy across paid, earned, owned & social channels, catering to diverse audiences
• Experience strategically managing marketing and advertising budgets with a demonstrated history of over-achievement of goals
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics or equivalent web analytics tool
• The ability to see patterns in data to find opportunities and insights
