Pizza and Salad Chef


Description
We’re looking for ambitious prep cooks to assist in the preparation of pizzas, salads and other delicious dishes. You will perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. You will prepare ingredients for our pizzas and make our fresh salads. A great cook will be quick, diligent and willing to improve on the job. You will able to carry out your duties skillfully and quickly while adhering to all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team. Previous experience as a prep cook as well as knowledge of health and safety regulations required.

Summary of Key Abilities and Responsibilities:

-Label, stock and organize and properly store ingredients
-Follow the prep lists created by chefs to plan duties
-Store, handle and rotate ingredients
-Understand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and rules, policies and procedures.
-Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, preparing dough, etc.
-Check customer orders for accuracy
-Monitor and maintain clean working area and pizza cooking surfaces.
-Complete opening and closing checklists.
-Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
-Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
-Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
