Want to Learn to Run your OWN KITCHEN OR RESTAURANT ONE DAY?

Then Apply to enter into our KITCHEN MANAGER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM where at the end you'll be certified by Historic Neirs Tavern and Owner as QUALIFIED AND CERTIFIED TO RUN YOUR OWN KITCHEN OR RESTAURANT.

We're a 189 year old historic local bar & Grill that is committed to offering the best American Style pub menu in a community friendly environment where everyone is warm & inviting.

We are seeking a strong and versatile cook to enter into our kitchen manager development program where you'll go through the training to run our or your own kitchen in the future.

Everyone enters into our Apprentice position but may be fast track into STAGE 2-Certified cook position depends on your interview and qualifications.

STAGE 1-Apprentice position- to qualify you must pass our minimum requirement to work to be entered in the program such as:
1. Multi-tasking exercise and basic reasoning skills test
2. Legal to work in USA and ability to communicate in english
3- 1 year commercial cook experience
4. Good Appearance, positive attitude,
5- ability to work some holidays and weekends.
YOU MAY BE FAST TRACK PASS THIS STAGE IF YOU DEMONSTRATE YOU'RE ALREADY READY FOR CERTIFIED COOK CERTIFICATION

STAGE 2-Certified Cook Position
1-increase pay,
2-Certification
3-learn basic kitchen financials of running a kitchen and restaurant
4-learn how to create basic checklists, and operation sheets etc.
You may remain at this position or advance to ASST. Kitchen manager if you're ambitious and ready to advance.


STAGE 3- Asst. KM- (pass apprentice & certified cook tests)

1. Permitted to Create own daily specials, learn basic ordering and increase pay, regular bonus
2-learn menu and ingredient costing and pricing.
3- plus more


STAGE 4-Kitchen Manager, (at this stage you can run your own kitchen and restaurant)
1. Purchase equipment, supplies, order & manage inventory
2. Bonus compensation, and increase pay with perks
3. Create signature items with cost breakdown etc
4-Certification Certificate of KITCHEN MANAGER development program
