Description
Nur is Chef Meir Adoni’s first New York restaurant. With 4 highly acclaimed restaurants in Israel, Chef Adoni has brought an elevated and modern take on Middle-Eastern food.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef, who will work very closely with both Chef Adoni and the Chef de Cuisine to be an integral part of the team. You will be directly responsible for implementing and following the culinary standards and overseeing the culinary operations. You will assist with ordering, maintaining inventory, as well as managing the kitchen team.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in a premium upscale or fine dining kitchen as Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook
- Able to help top line sales and support the Chef to ensure menu items are executed with excellence in the restaurant
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High standards in regards to cleanliness, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Familiar with ordering, inventory practices, and food costing
- Have a NYC Health Department Food Protection Certification
