We are looking for a talented, motivated kitchen manager to help us spread vegan food in NYC and NJ!
This is a 5-6 day/week position at our kitchen in the Pfizer Building in Brooklyn.
Shifts are typically 6:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday and some limited hours remotely and occasionallyWe started our award winning vegan food truck business in 2010 serving the public at numerous events around the Tri-State area, and have recently expanded to our new NYC locations at the Pennsy Food Hall and the Financial District. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about making a difference in the food service business, especially if you are vegan, that is always a plus!
on weekends.
Must have previous culinary management experience.
This is a salaried position in a growing family owned business. We are looking to make a positive impact on the world!
Position includes
-Scheduling a small team of prep cooks, overnight bakers, and delivery drivers
-Fostering a positive, motivated energy at our kitchen
-Hiring, firing, and training new hires
-Maintaining quality control
-Working with our catering manager and restaurant managers to coordinate the inventory we need
-Helping in the process of standardizing and cost analyzing recipes
-Ordering / Inventory Management & Ingredient Cost Reduction
