Founded by childhood best friends, Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, The Meatball Shop opened our first location on The Lower Side in 2010 and quickly expanded throughout NYC. The Meatball Shop is an employee first culture that promotes creativity and individuality within our communities. We believe in serving simple, sustainable and delicious food.
The Meatball Shop is thrilled to announce that we are opening our first location outside of NYC this summer! We are looking for motivated leaders and critical thinkers, ready for the challenge of making our DC opening a huge success. We are a growth focused, team-oriented company seeking like-minded individuals.
Responsibilities include:
- Warmly and graciously greets all guests upon arrival.
- When possible, opens the front doors for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.
- When immediate seating is limited, records guest names, brief description and number of people in party.
- Personally locates and advises VIP reservations as well as wait-listed parties when tables become available.
- Seats guests based on guest preferences and balancing of guest flow in service stations.
- Upon seating, makes sure guests are comfortable.
- Inspects table for proper presentation and completeness.
- Thanks guests as they leave and invites them to return.
