Description
The Osprey is looking for AM hosts who possesses great energy, a friendly personality, and great work ethic. Opportunities await those candidates with experience with flexible schedules. The AM host shift starts at 6:30am and handles many walk-in hotel guests.

The Osprey Restaurant located at 60 Furman Street at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, boasts market-driven American comfort food, highlighting local seasonal ingredients by Executive Chef Michael Oliver and Chef de Cuisine, Michael Poiarkoff. Guests can enjoy the delicious fare and craft cocktails in a bright and airy atmosphere, incorporating lush greenery and wall to wall glass doors to create an indoor-outdoor garden experience. Floor to ceiling windows, reclaimed wood and living walls wrap the dining room and bar –bringing the outdoors in –creating an elegant space where guests will feel at home.

The hosts will be responsible for greeting all guests, handling guests' coats and other personal belongings, taking and editing reservations. The host may be asked to take direction from the lead host, as well as management. Recognizing regular guests and seeking ways to elevate the guest experience of all guests are expectations of the job.



Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year NYC restaurant experience
Comfort with OpenTable (flex)
Passion for the guest experience
Fine dining or casual fine dining experience a plus
Flexible schedule
