Fast Good Concepts

The Marketing & Community Manager for ThinkFoodGroup's fast casual division, Fast Good, is responsible for the ongoing marketing and community building of our fast casual brands. These concepts currently include Beefsteak, Butterfly Tacos y Tortas and La Pepa, with more in development. Main responsibilities include overseeing the local store and brand marketing efforts for these concepts, both for launches of new locations and operating stores, and ensuring the brands remain consistent, fresh and compelling across all visual touch points. Position reports to the TFG Brand Director, Restaurants, and works closely with TFG's Marketing, PR & Social Media, and digital marketing teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand & Local Store Marketing
•Manages the implementation of promotional calendar for brands and stores, for new openings as well as ongoing marketing efforts
to maximize trial and repeat business
•Acts as primary liaison with partners in licensed stores in local marketing efforts as appropriate and, along with TFG Graphic Designer,
enforces brand standards for all guest touch points
•Manages the development and production of all visual materials for ongoing promotional campaigns, across all digital, print and
other channels within stores and for off-site promotions, along with Graphic Designer
•Responsible for invoice tracking and staying within budget for all collateral and digital
assets for brands to ensure a balance between impact, quality, cost efficiencies and marketing impact

Community Building
•Work in collaboration with operations and training teams to execute local store marketing and programming efforts
•Conduct community outreach and be acutely aware of sales and marketing events in which brands could participate as well as
develop and propose potential opportunities for current locations
•Manage and execute special events, food drops and community outreach
•Recruit and manage of the Beefsteak Campus Ambassador program for applicable locations
•Manage charitable donations and Beefsteak’s KindnessUNLEASHED profit share program and seek out new like-minded organizations
as partner s
•Represent fast casual brands to, and develop strong relationships with, the local communities for each store, managing remote teams
for locations outside DC area
•Attend city and regional events regularly, in DC area and elsewhere as possible, as ambassador of division's brands to build and
strengthen alliances

PR + Social Media
•Work with TFG communications team on fast casual PR strategies and activities for the brands
•Assist in the execution of the social media strategy, voice and engagement for the brands to continually build an active following and
guest loyalty in close collaboration with the Sr. Manager of Social Media
•Curate evergreen content and capture “behind the scenes” content for Instagram stories and social media channels

Customer Support
•Manage the Beefsteak loyalty app helpdesk and field email inquiries to provide efficient customer service to troubleshoot any issues
•Monitor all review sites and assist operations in engaging with guest posts

Skills
•2-4 years professional experience in marketing, events and community building or related discipline, ideally with exposure to the fast
casual arena
•Strong interest in the restaurant and fast casual business
•Driven self-starter, with ability to think creatively and take initiative
•Solid ability to project manage and problem solve in a fast-paced environment to meet the marketing and growth goals for these
brands
•Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
•Familiarity and proficiency preferred with one or more of the following: Adobe CS, HTML, social media monitoring, databases, or restaurant industry and loyalty platform software
