Front of House Manager

Description
Treadwell Park, a beer hall/restaurant that specializes in craft and international beers is seeking a standout manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will apply the same amount of care and passion to their job as they do their hobbies - keeping guest experience at the forefront of everything they do. Please read this entire ad before responding.

As manager, you will assist the GM in planning, directing and overseeing all FOH operations,

including ensuring that product and service standards are flawless, being able to multi-task while keeping your cool in extreme high volume, and managing staff while setting an example. We’re looking for someone that can not only create positive, memorable experiences for our guests, but who understands the importance of maintaining a positive and effective team of employees. Your love of hospitality should extend to everyone you come in contact with, not just guests (aka no ego trips, blame games, or finger pointing- let’s just get the job done and live a happy life). An upbeat, positive demeanor, excellent leadership and communication skills, and high-level organization, along with an eye for detail are crucial for a position like this.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in a fast paced, high pressure environment in NYC

in a Bar Manager or FOH Manager position (if you’re not quite there, but still think you’d do an outstanding job, drop us a line and let us know why)

Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

TIPS certification is a plus

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and quickly resolve problems under pressure

Ability to organize, train, and direct a team of employees

Knowledge of Aloha a plus

Knowledge of Avero a plus

Knowledge of craft beer a MAJOR plus (did we say MAJOR, we meant MAJOR), otherwise a strong desire and commitment to learn is crucial- remember, you’d be managing staff by example and beer knowledge is a huge part of that.

In return for being our newest and most wonderful manager, we’ll do our best to make your job as rewarding as possible. We offer a great work environment for our staff complete with ample opportunities to learn about and taste beer, visit breweries, create signature cocktail recipes, attend industry events, and even collaborate on brewing. Our reputation is growing at an outstanding rate- we’ve been highlighted in everything from The NY Times to the Rachael Ray show, to the Wall Street Journal. We’re in the process of expanding and we don't plan on slowing down anytime soon. If this seems right for you, please send your resume to amanda@treadwellpark.com and please include “I know who Michael Jackson is” in the subject line. Cheers!
