Exciting new gastropub project is looking for a kitchen manager to grow with us.
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversee and support line cooks ensuring labor and cost control is met
Oversee and calculate all food costs
Maintain recipe book
Help developing new menu items
Ensure all food orders are completed in an efficient and accurate manner
Ensure there are daily foods prepped to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently
Conduct food inventory
Ensure proper handling of all food products and equipment is maintained to ensure food safety
Ensure cleanliness and high sanitation standards
Organize and maintain stock room and refrigerator/freezer
DOH certification
Microsoft Office knowledge and flexible schedules is required
