Cafe Manager

We are looking for a manager for our NYC cafe!

The manager must be an innovative leader and team player who enjoys working in fast paced café environment.  In this position you will work and develop your own team of baristas to create the best tasting coffee and impeccable service while maintaining a great café vibe, which includes an extremely clean and detailed café. We are looking for someone who is willing to start immediately and grow with the company. We are forward thinking and extremely progressive, looking for someone who will grow with the company.

Goals:
▪    All Brooklyn Diamond baristas should lead the industry in standards of drink preparation, customer service, consistency and efficiency. Work with Café Managers and shift leaders, management team and training team to help develop an effective, knowledgeable hard working staff.
▪    Maintain clear communication and collaboration amongst team members 
▪    Develop a team of influential, customer focused baristas 

Retail Operations.
▪    Recruit and develop staff team members.
▪    Develop and maintain the work schedule that is efficient and cost effective. Approve time sheets for payroll.
▪    Work with daily cash, POS system, submit sales to HQ and review daily sales with management team.
▪    Work with managers of cafes to achieve quarterly sales goals.
▪    Use Brooklyn Diamond protocols in training and follow ups with all baristas, shift leaders, and lead Baristas
▪    Work closely with the store managers and management team to promote all Brooklyn Diamond Cold Brew and coffee beans within retail stores. 
▪    Work with baristas to understand and define coffees in simple terms to improve knowledge base and customer interaction/experience.
▪    Introduce new products and procedures to cafes discuss menu items, troubleshoot.
▪ Inventory is done weekly
▪ Ordering and Spending on paper goods, coffee, beverages is kept below budget
▪ Develop and maintain the work schedule that is efficient and cost effective. Process Payroll Bimonthly
▪ Generate daily P&L – produce an increasing profit
▪ Reduce COGs in all locations
▪ All technical issues in store are addressed, preventative measures are implemented, and any problems are to be tackled right away.
