Description
Square Rhino Projects, a restaurant management group, is looking for an exceptional leader who would assume the responsibility for the smooth running of our small office where your professionalism, initiative and office skills is welcomed. You will have plenty of room to be creative and work with a small upper management team who is always open to new ideas outside of every box.

The Office Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

The Office Manager reports to the Executive Director, have strong people skills, be able to manage a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks, and be proficient with computers and the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.

Your par time or full-time role will include providing a full range of office management duties including:
Day-to-day management of our small office
Manage Accounts payables and receivables
Office managers essentially ensure the smooth running of an office on a day-to-day basis and may manage a team of administrative or support staff. Responsibilities typically include:
• organizing meetings and managing databases
• booking transport and accommodation
• organizing company events or conferences
• ordering stationery and furniture
• dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
• preparing letters, presentations and reports
• supervising and monitoring the work of administrative staff
• managing office budgets
• liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
• implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
• delegating tasks to junior employees
• organizing induction programs for new employees
• ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date
• using a range of software packages
• attending meetings with senior management
• assisting the organization’s HR function by keeping personnel records up to date, arranging interviews and so on
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information;
• identifying trends. Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
• Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.

You will have the flexibility to implement new procedures and systems to improve the smooth running of the office.
This is an autonomous role and you need to be comfortable being independent and making decisions. This position will suit you if you have good interpersonal and presentation skills, and office management experience. You need to be self-directed and have organizational and problem-solving skills.
Applicants must have:
-Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
and positive disposition.
- Experience with QuickBooks and or similar accounting packages and be proficient in accounts payables and receivables
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products including advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
