Job Responsibilities
Full oversight of, and responsibility for, the restaurant unit, including:
• Complete P&L management including projections, budgets, daily tracking and monthly results
• Oversees all Front of House managers, Back of House via Executive Chef, and Controller
• Front of House staff hiring, performance management, and discipline
• Approve all Front of House schedules; Create Front of House manager schedules
• Oversee overall cleanliness, repair and organization of all Front of House areas and storage
• Cultivate a positive, results-oriented, transparent culture within all restaurant staff
GENERAL:
• Reports directly to Director of Operations
• Oversees consistent, quality execution of every shift during business hours
• Oversees general cleanliness, repairs and maintenance of Front of House areas and storage
• Provides consistent, appropriate and constructive coaching to managers and hourly employees
• Exudes personal professionalism, sophistication and polished speech at all times
• Maintains impeccable personal organization
• Exhibits patience, compassion and the strong ability to communicate in high-pressure situations
• Conducts final interview for all Front of House hourly candidates; directs recruiting efforts
• Conduct bi-annual performance reviews for all managers; Witnesses all Chef performance reviews
• Consistently exemplifies Craveable Hospitality Group attire and grooming standards; is comfortable and adept at coaching employees on personal appearance
• Possesses and continually expands deep personal knowledge of food and beverage; possesses broad knowledge of national restaurant trends, current events, and historical context
• Possesses deep knowledge of fine dining steps of service, and exceptional ability to implement those processes
• Respectfully collaborates with Back of House team, sharing ideas and constructive criticism
