Floor Manager

**UPSCALE RESTAURANT SEEKING RESTAURANT MANAGERS/ FLOOR MANAGERS**
An upscale Chinese restaurant slated to open in Bryant Park in the Fall, is currently looking for professional restaurant managers/floor managers, who will be responsible for managing the FOH operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to meet all restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals; while always maintaining efficient restaurant operations, this candidate must excel in productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of the entire FOH restaurant operation, to include BOH duties
• Responsible for solving any problems that may arise during service including technical issues.
• Guide, direct, and train staff.
• Deliver superior guest service and ensure absolute guest satisfaction
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive
• Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
• Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations
• Control costs and minimize waste
• Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions

Required Skills and Abilities

• Proven working experience as a restaurant manager in a high profile environment
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Demonstrated career experience in guest service management
• Extensive food and wine knowledge
• Proficiency in English
• Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software
• Acute financial management skills
• Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration is a +
