Public Area Attendant

The first U.S. restaurant by one of China's most influential Michelin starred chefs, simply known as DaDong, located in the heart of midtown at Bryant Park, is seeking talented candidates for the PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT positions.

The restaurant has both an a la carte dining room as well as a more formal dining room featuring tasting menus. We are seeking individuals who are interested in working in an upscale high-volume environment. Our goal is to build a team who has a strong passion for food, beverage and hospitality, paired with a strong work ethic and desire to be part of a great restaurant.

What is required:
-Responsible for sanitation and cleanliness
-Responsible for mopping and sweeping floors, and keeping their work area clean and organized
-Responsible for cleaning and buffing all mirrors and doors
-Responsible for keeping all surfaces such as window frames dust-free
-Responsible for emptying trash cans and keeping the loading dock is clean.
-Responsible for regularly inspecting all bathrooms for cleanliness

What it takes:
-Prior experience in a high volume, fine dining establishment is preferred
-Excellent verbal communication skills
-Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used in the workplace as to communicate with guests
-Must have flexibility and availability including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays as needed
