The Maitre d’ ensures guests have an enjoyable dining experience because they are the first touch point of our guest. The Maitre d’ will manage the Host Team to ensure we are providing quality service. This person will be the sales liaison to the city by finding new leads and guests. The Maitre d’ will work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to Far Exceed Expectations Daily for our Guests. This role will report directly to the General Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Oversee guest flow and proper seating within the restaurant
•Partner with the Sales & Event Planner to drive restaurant sales
•Recruit, hire, train, schedule and develop the Host / Hostess team
•Partners with FOH Management team and chefs to hold the Double Eagle Team Accountable
•Manage Open Table
•Builds strategic partnerships with concierges in the city to help maximize guest counts
•Responsible to build and maintain community involvement while championing efforts within the building
•Ensure an overall enjoyable dining experience; promotes a clean and safe environment for guests and team members
•Act as the go between for kitchen and dining room staff
•Makes special occasion arrangements for guests; promote special in-house events
•Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures; assist with evacuation of guests to safety in the event of an emergency
•Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•2 - 4+ years of upscale or fine dining leadership experience in the Front of House
•Previous steakhouse or fine dining experience preferred
•Open table experience or reservation experience encouraged
•Experience with High Volume restaurants
•Marketing experience a plus
