As a Host(ess), a typical day might include the following:
• As guests are arriving in our venues you are greeting them with a welcoming smile and are able to provide them with fast, friendly
service.
• You are able to monitor open dining sections in the venue and provide wait times for guests when necessary.
• Escort guests to dining area when available making them comfortable prior to being greeted by server.
• Assist guests with venue or menu questions upon arrival, during visit or upon departure.
• You are able to answer the phone assisting the caller with questions or reservations when appropriate.
• You are able to accurately relay guest requests or details to the necessary person.
• Promote Big Night Entertainment Group Restaurants and Venues in a positive and professional manner.
• You are able to work well with others as you will be working with other host(ess), servers, bartenders, back servers/bussers, and
management.
• You are able to remember guest’s names and utilize them when appropriate.
• You are able to build guest loyalty.
• You are able to resolve service problems with empathy and according to guidelines.
• Your work area is maintained, clean and stocked.
• Other duties to be assigned based on venues requirements.
