Description
We are looking for a manager who exudes hospitality, is upbeat and friendly, stylish and fashion-conscious, and enjoys being hands-on on the floor. Our ideal candidate is someone capable of interacting well with our upscale fashion and media clientele, who can handle pressure well and thrives in a high volume, high energy environment.
The position entails being able to direct service as well as manage the front door and act as Maitre d'. with the assistance of hostesses. The majority of the work is during dinner service, with some adm. time during the day.
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in a fine dining downtown establishment
- Good knowledge of wine and liquors
- Experience with staff education
- Proficient skills with POS systems (Micros preferred)
Personal requirements:
- Energetic, cheerful, warm, personable and enthusiastic demeanor
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills
- Enthusiastic about cooperating with a creative and diverse team
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a stylish and chic downtown environment.
