Description
The Server's position holds the most accountability on the floor. This position is responsible for the knowledge of each menu. As the leader of all service positions, the Server exemplifies the highest standard of excellence in hospitality and service.
Essential Functions
Coordinate all floor service to provide excellence in dining experience
You must have thorough and detailed knowledge of all menus. This is very important aspect of this position to be able to show the customers that you are very knowledgeable with the Bakery/Restaurant's Cuisine. This includes being aware of daily specials (i.e. food or bakery items) and also any promotions that may be running

The Runner
Service position is unique in that the Runner essentially serves as the mobile satellite that connects the kitchen to the dining room and vice versa. Communication skills, proper service/hospitality techniques and the comprehensive knowledge of all foods are expected for this position within the service team.
Essential Functions
Responsible for a working knowledge of every dish taken to any guest
Provide assistance to and anticipate the needs of any fellow staff member or guest at any time
Communicate to the Manager any immediate service requests or concerns that occur in the dining room

The Busser
Position incorporates all the necessary skills and responsibilities involved in the overall service and hospitality of the Bakery/Restaurant. Under the direction of the store managers, the team must be respectful and professional of one another and together are accountable for their assigned stations.
Essential Functions
Responsible for the table maintenance within the assigned stations throughout the service: table setups for all courses, water service throughout the meal, napkin folds when guests leave the table, refill coffee
To have thorough knowledge of every brunch, dinner, and dessert menu offered to any guest
Maintain the work stations' appearance during each shift within the dining room ensuring its functionality and organization at the start and conclusion of every shift
