Mo' Bettahs is a Utah-based company founded by brothers Kalani and Kimo Mack in 2008. Their goal was to give their customers the same delicious experience they had when growing up on Oahu, Hawaii's culinary landscape. ABOUT THE ROLE 

Reporting to the VP of RE & Development, this role assists in overseeing the real estate and development process from start to finish. You will be supporting commercial restaurant development projects on a national scale. You will be responsible for lease management, legal analysis, compiling and analyzing market data and preparing detailed reports to present to senior leadership that provide market insights across multiple asset classes. Due diligence and underwriting of prospective development opportunities, summarizing key documentation, and supporting deal structuring will be a key part of the role. The position will offer you the chance to work with experienced professionals across the ownership and development side including construction, finance, legal, and property management. This position is in Lehi, UT in office only. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

The Real Estate and Legal Coordinator is responsible for providing research and support to Mo’ Bettahs commercial real estate to achieve the organization’s growth goals. This encompasses support for both Mo’ Bettahs Legal, Real Estate and New Store Development teams. This individual partners with executive leadership as well as cross-functional business partners (Legal and Construction, among others) to assess potential real estate opportunities for Mo’ Bettahs.  This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys collaborating at varying leadership levels, being creative and making things happen! 

 

ABOUT YOU: 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Real Estate, Law, or related field preferred. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate (commercial). 

  • Experience managing leases & all stages of the transaction process. 

  • Excellent communications and documentation skills.  

  • Must be team oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and maintain composure in ambiguous situations. 

  • Expected to take initiative, forward thinking and provide long term solutions to issues that arise. 

  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills. 

  • Ability to establish and implement programs and processes. 

  • MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required. 

  • Keeping up with fast paced ambiguous environment. 

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members and vendors by managing their emotions and crafting constructive responses in diverse situations. 

  • Ability to establish and implement programs and processes 

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills. 

  • Able to travel when needed. 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  

The position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods; lift 30 pounds; bend, stoop, and kneel. You may be required to work outside in various weather conditions. You may be required to work on a computer for extended periods, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. You may be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
