We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable and adaptable team players that want to contribute in an environment where their efforts will be appreciated. You must understand your role to entertain and deliver a personalized and fun atmosphere. - Help us create memorable experiences for our guests!

Minimum 2 years of Management experience with previous experience in Bartending/Server is required
(IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 2+ YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE PLEASE DO NOT APPLY

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee overall operation of the bar and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and appearance at all times
• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Receive and process food and drink orders, ensuring accuracy
• Mix and serve drinks following a set standard of recipes
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available
• Handle cash and credit transactions on the POS system
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies, keeping bank secure at all times
• Provide barbacks with direction and coaching to ensure proper operation of the bar
• Communicate with managers, co-workers and guests in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees
• Perform all other duties as requested by management

Schedule: Varies by day
Sunday to Thursday Kitchen Closes at 11pm and Friday/Saturday Kitchen closes at 12am
We usually close soon after the Kitchen closes depending on patrons bar consumption.
Must have OPEN availability. We can accommodate a school schedule if necessary (as long as its a set schedule)

Qualifications
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must be available on weekends, for special events, and some holidays.
• Minimum of 2 years Management experience
• Minimum of 2 year waiter/server experience
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending, walking, kneeling and lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 lbs. without restrictions
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Requires strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne and mixed cocktails
• The ability to work within a team environment
• Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional manner
• Flexibility to perform other job related tasks as deemed necessary by management
• Possession of New York City Food Protection Certificate is a plus

We are looking forward to meet with talented individuals that are looking to grow with us and our restaurant group. We also have a restaurant in Astoria, Queens. Fresco's Cantina that we can discuss as option if Travesias in The Bronx does not work out due to location.
