as the host you’ll be the first and last person every guest will see during their experience with us. and as you know, we only get one chance to make a good impression – so you’ll ensure yours is awesome! you’ll welcome each guest as if they were a returning friend. you’ll engage and excite them about the experience they’re about to embark on with wagamama and the team and when they leave the restaurant, you’ll let them know we loved having them dine with us and we’re looking forward to seeing them again.

- you understand and demonstrate kaizen style of service
- gracious and accommodating, you’ll ensure guests genuinely feel welcome at wagamama – from their first point of contact
- you’ll be active and on your feet – that way you can reach all our guests wherever they are in their wagamama experience
- you’ll handle all calls and requests calmly and with patience
- no silent seating – you’ll get information from your guests that you’ll seamlessly hand over to their server
