The Housekeeping Office Coordinator is responsible for the overall administrative function of the housekeeping department. S/he will organize the housekeeper's daily boards, answer guest requests, log guest issues and glitches, follow up with all housekeeping requests, issues and complaints, communicate with managers and the Director of Housekeeping to ensure a flawless execution of the housekeeping function at The Watergate Hotel.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and expertise:

•1+ year direct related experience as a Housekeeping Office Coordinator in a hotel is required; those with luxury hotel experience are strongly preferred.
•1+ year experience in a customer service related industry is required.
•Must be an excellent communicator with fluency in English required.
•Prior experience operating a complex, multi-line phone system is required.
•Must be a superior multi-tasker with strong detail orientation.
•Prior experience in problem solving and guest follow-up required.
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
•Must possess strong computer proficiency to include MS Office, Word, Excel; those with experience in Rex, Opera and hotSOS will be strongly favored.
•Must be able to present ones' self with an uplifting and polished demeanor reflective of The Watergate Hotel brand standards.
