RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service:
- Interact with guests and coworkers in a professional manner.
- Efficiently process guests’ orders and demonstrate follow-through on necessary service points.
-Provide personal touches to encourage repeat business (i.e. remembering names of our regulars.)
Product Knowledge:
- Possess complete understanding of menu offering.
- Retain up-to- date information on promotions and services.
- Able to discuss full ingredient breakdown and offer aide to guests with dietary/allergy restrictions.
Barista:
- Accurately execute beverage recipes while maintaining portion control.
- Safeguard quality and presentation through proper handling of espresso and milk foaming.
Cash Handling:
-Accurately and efficiently navigate POS system to create and finalize guest orders.
-Correctly process cash, credit card and tip transactions on assigned register.
Store Maintenance:
-Maintain neat and orderly presentation of counter station (pastry, retail, signage, paper goods storage.)
- Assist in upholding cleanliness of entire store in accordance with NYC Department of Health standards.
